No longer Pinteresting

The problem with being a victim of a pinteresting wife, is that your wife has to be on Pinterest. Many husbands would like it if their wife would not spend as much time on the social network. Yet, for people to follow my post, it kind of defeats the title. But it is great to have my wife getting recipes the old fashioned way, from her mom, from other girls, and from her own searches on the internet, not Pinterest doing it for her. This is a dark day for blogging.

Medical Social Media

Who ever thought of social media as medical treatment? My wife and I have been sick for a while, we both have a cold. So, going to the trusty Pinterest, we found some remedies. That thing has more doctor opinions than a doctor Oz show. There's plenty of remedies, but the ones we found that I liked most were the natural remedies. It seems that with all the technological advances, there's nothing better than a good serving of fruits and vegetables, while drinking plenty of water and sleeping a lot. Simple as that. No big revelation there. So if you're sick, this may be news to you, but please, take a load off. If your wife is sick, let her stay on Pinterest longer, take care of her. If you're sick. Man up. But do it with fruit. Get better soon.

One of the greatest advantages in being the husband of a pinteresting wife is the food. If Pinterest was created for nothing more than sharing recipes, I would be satisfied with it. It's better than if the Food Network and Julia Child had a delicious baby. The other day we had Lasagna Rolls and they were grand. They had a cheesy middle and nice Italian flavor. I enjoy getting fat at the expense of experimentation. It's the best, and sometimes it doesn't work out, but this time was a win. My wife, Rachel, is always apologizing beforehand for her new dishes, but lucky for her, I have the food mantra of "Don't knock it till you try it." And for sure she had nothing to apologize about. I feel so lucky to be a recipe guinea pig.
